Each grey-green leaf of this magnificent Chinese tea is tightly rolled into a tiny, shiny pellet and mixed with the aromatic oil of spearmint. These small pellets "explode" into a long leaf upon being steeped in hot water and have an unsurpassed flavor and sedative effect. This is a wonderful tea to steep in a clear glass pot while entertaining.

  
In order to have a strong cup of green tea with rich flavor, we recommend one teaspoon per 8 ounces of hot, but not boiling water (176 °F to 185 °F). Timing for the perfect cup: steep green tea in an 8 oz. cup one to two minutes.
